Founded in 1969, C. H. S. Construction Company Inc. is head-quartared at 34 Clinton Street, Newark, NJ.

​

Originally organized as restoration and alteration specialist, Sanders has expanded its base of expertise to include commercial, residential, industrial and public alterations and additions, as well as new construction in all areas and real estate development. Additionally, the company engages in joint-venture opportunities which involve out-of-area construction and development.  Major projects under consideration include historic restoration, urban renewal and extensive multi-dwelling construction.

A diverse client roster gives clear indication of the variety of projects with which Sanders has been involved.  Completed projects range from interior alterations of the nationally acclaimed Studio Museum of Harlem to construction of the New Radiology Center of Kings County Hospital, New York, to construction of the glass- enclosed pedestrian bridge of Prudential's Gateway III building in Newark.  To date, more than $20.5 million in projects have been completed.
